I primarily focus my work on the creation of documentary and educational content (eg. tutorials, online classes) as well as interviews and short about me clips.
But that does not mean, i am not open to any other kind of wonderful project idea.

Rheumatic diseases.
I am very thankful for the opportunity to work for „Deutsche Rheuma-Liga“. A non profit organization which mission it is, to provide rheumatic patients with reliable and reputable information about their disease, treatment options and much more.

In this exciting third episode of our paediatric research series at Hauner Children’s Hospital, we focus on the Scivias study. This innovative examination method aims to diagnose rare diseases in children quickly and painlessly. An important component of this study is an eye examination, which is used in combination with blood and urine samples as well as artificial intelligence.
We created this short clip, for the Care for rare science award, wich is happening every year. This time the price went to Dr. Gianluca Santamaria, a Bio information scientist.

The focus here was on a professional light setup and on good sound. Also it was important, that the color of the talent and the talent itself gave a nice complementary contrast to the Background.
This little about me was a tricky one. Besides beeing super spontaneously we had a very tight time table (one hour during the day and one hour at night), the location also was not super ideal and the time did not allow for re-arranging the furniture. So i tried to create a bit more depth through additional light in the Background. The main light on the talent was positioned out of frame and is motivated by her drawing lamp. As usual all sound design is also done by me.
For the video I had to spend quite a lot of time outdoors, what was complicated due to the COVID-Restrictions we had at this time. So I could only use minimal equipment and had to look very intense to find interesting scenes during my „walks“. This sometimes was kind of exhausting. But I Enjoyed it a lot. The other part of creating, after I got the video material, was recording sound. I went out again and tried to capture as many sounds as possible to give the video some extra spice here and there. Sounds which I could not find, I reproduced by myself at home (foley). I did not use any old Video material, No stock material, no Stock sounds, everything is made by myself. Only the music was licensed through a sound platform.
